Voice of the Mirror: The Tory sense of entitlement is nauseating as George Osborne receives huge payout

What hypocrisy and greed. These Tories impose austerity on the country but help themselves to golden goodbyes of up to £20,000 when changing jobs.

How on earth could George Osborne , the man behind the public service pay cap, even try to justify dipping his hand into the taxpayers’ pocket when he quit politics to take a media job on upwards of £200,000 to add to his roles including one earning £650,000?

Then there is teacher-hating Michael Gove, who collected £17,000 from the public purse when he strolled into a £150,000 grace-and-favour position with Rupert Murdoch.

If either of these Tories had any shame they would refund taxpayers so we could spend the money on somebody useful such as an extra nurse, firefighter or police officer for a year.

The sense of entitlement of Tories lecturing others to tighten their belts is nauseating when the working poor were forced to feather-bed a couple of chaps on the make.

Osborne and Gove are poster boys for a Tory clique looking after itself while making life worse for everybody else.
